I am a graphic designer with a background in secondary education.
I feel lucky to have those years of experience in the classroom: the daily requirement to employ clarity and minimise confusion informs my studio practice in almost every way. I am a designer who likes to focus on the clear, interesting communication of information.
My best, most authentic work is uncluttered and clean. I like to take a concept or idea and reduce it down until I can communicate it in very simple terms, make it easily digestible. This can often prove challenging, but I feel that the ability to simplify complex ideas is one of my most important roles as a graphic designer.
We should make the world easier to explain.
